Apart from getting to know Madrid in a short time, the students will be outside in the fresh air, they will reconnect with themselves and their colleagues and on top do something for their health. Also, in these times of increasing environmental consciousness, what better to have the feeling to contribute to it by using a sustainable vehicle? Furthermore, it is proven that riding a bike makes you feel happy and motivated and improves your state of mind. All these aspects will improve the atmosphere in the group and contribute to strengthening the team.
We have a long experience – since 1999 – in touring with students from all over the world. We understand their needs, interests and pace. We know that young people have special requirements and that a tour has to be fun and entertaining. We also make sure that safety is guaranteed.
We offer special bike tours for students from teambuilding and fun types like a Gymkhana/rally with clues in the Retiro Park or more traditional tours with a combination of the Highlights of Madrid with parks. The Madrid Highlights Bike Tour covers the must- see attractions like the Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park and much more. The itinerary is customized to student groups so it will be extra fun, safe and interesting!
With excellent local and cultural knowledge, your guide will provide useful information at each site showcasing many hidden gems and sharing lesser-known facts – adding a depth of local knowledge to key visits on your school / student tour.
We are also flexible in designing a special tour for each group according to the educational needs they have.
The bike tours for students are available in many languages and optional extra services such as transport of the bikes to the starting point of the tour, a tapas or monument stop or a longer break in a nice place are possible. And of course, all of this is available for student prices (for a minimum of 10 persons) including a bottle of water, a helmet and public liability insurance.
If the students feel more comfortable exploring the capital by foot than by bike, this walking tour of 2-2,5 hours is perfect to get to know the essence of Madrid. One of your local guides will guide the student group through the city centre and show them the must-see Highlights as well as hidden spots.
Apart from the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace and many other famous sights, while strolling through some winding streets, they will see some typical markets, centuries-old family businesses (like Sant Ginés chocolate shop) and some of the coolest neighbourhoods in the city.
